On Tuesday, April 14, MBC hosted a Sponsor Appreciation Breakfast for the Metro area, with representatives from 37 organizations attending, bringing the total number of attendees to 70. During the event, we announced our 100 and 200 Club honorees, who sponsored drives that generated over 100 or 200 donations, respectively. We also recognized the Lakeville Community for being the top double red cell donor, with an impressive total of 124 donations.
The event culminated with a keynote speech from Ciara Glasgow of Leo’s Birthday Blood Drive. Ciara shared her personal story of losing her son, Leo, due to complications from a rare and severe congenital heart defect. Her powerful speech highlighted our organization’s mission and values, providing real-world examples of our impact.
