After stepping off a plane from a work trip, longtime Memorial Blood Centers (MBC) donor Eden headed straight to an International Falls blood drive to donate.
For Eden, blood donation is personal. Her father is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia and has relied on multiple blood transfusions throughout his journey. That experience has strengthened her commitment to giving blood whenever she has the opportunity.
Living in a rural Minnesota community without a nearby donor center, Eden knows blood drives are not always easy to access. She makes it a priority to donate whenever MBC is in town, no matter how busy life gets.
Eden has supported MBC for years, dating back to coordinating blood drives at her workplace. Her continued dedication is a reminder of the lasting impact committed donors can have on patients and families who depend on lifesaving blood transfusions.
Thank you, Eden, for going the extra mile to help ensure blood is available for those who need it most.
