The Excelsior Rotary Club recently exceeded its goal at its latest blood drive with Memorial Blood Centers, collecting an impressive 58 units of blood for patients in the community.
The club has steadily increased its commitment to blood donation in recent years. When Chairperson Mike Cooper took on the role in 2023, the club hosted one blood drive each year. This year, the club hosted four blood drives and plans to continue expanding its impact.
Next year, the Excelsior Rotary Club plans to host a blood drive every 56 days. The club will also partner with the Minnetonka Rotary Club for combined spring and fall blood drives to help increase their collective impact.
