Last week, the University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development hosted its first We Give Blood drive, bringing students together to support patients in need.
Thanks to the strong turnout, MBC collected enough blood to potentially save up to 66 lives. The drive also brought the University of Minnesota one step closer to winning $1 million for student or community health.
Students who donated received a free T-shirt, courtesy of Abbott, a proud partner of the Big Ten Conference and Minnesota Gophers. The successful first drive was a great example of how students can come together to make a meaningful impact in their community.
