Memorial Blood Centers (MBC) team members spent the last weekend of June connecting with the community at Twin Cities Pride, welcoming visitors to the MBC booth for conversations about blood donation, donor eligibility, and the lifesaving impact of giving blood.
Throughout the event, community members stopped by to meet with the team, learn their blood type, ask questions, and learn more about how blood donations support patients across the region. The event provided an opportunity to engage with new audiences and strengthen relationships within the communities MBC serves.
One of the most meaningful conversations centered on how blood donor eligibility guidelines have evolved over the years to become more inclusive while continuing to prioritize the safety of both donors and patients.
