Memorial Blood Centers (MBC) was honored to welcome Representative Kelly Morrison to our Plymouth Donor Center, where she met with Executive Director of Operations Jennifer Kaluza and team members to discuss the recent blood emergency and the ongoing, critical need for donors across Minnesota.
During her visit, Representative Morrison learned more about the challenges facing the blood supply and the vital role our staff and donors play in ensuring patients receive lifesaving transfusions when they need them most. The conversation underscored how community support is essential to maintaining a stable and reliable blood supply—especially during times of heightened need.
Donating blood remains one of the most direct and meaningful ways individuals can make a positive impact in their communities. Each donation has the potential to save multiple lives and provide hope to patients and families facing medical emergencies.
