System Update Notice:

Small changes to your donor profile.

As part of our efforts to ensure the security of your donation information, we will be performing a system update this weekend. As a result of this update, you may notice a few changes the next time you donate or log into your account.

Here’s what to expect:

  • You’ll be assigned a new donor ID. Your current donor ID card will no longer be used at check-in. Please bring a valid photo ID when you donate.
  • You can view your new Donor ID by logging into your Hero Hub portal starting Monday, July 7. We’ll share more information soon about how to access your updated donor ID card—stay tuned.
  • Your donation activity associated with your legacy Donor ID number will be transferred in full to your new Donor ID number.
  • If you typically donate at a blood drive, your sponsor code may change. If you are familiar with and use a sponsor code, please check with your blood drive’s Chairperson for your new code starting Monday, July 7. The sponsor code is not necessary for you to register to donate at the blood drive.
  • Future updates to your date of birth, address, or name must be made in person at a blood drive or one of our donor centers.
