We’ve Moved- Visit our Duluth Donor Center at our New Location!

On April 1, 2024 Memorial Blood Centers’ Duluth Blood Center moved to its new location –
14 East Central Entrance.

Just off Arlington on East Central Entrance the blood center features a larger donor center, a comfortable lounge and canteen area, state-of-the art equipment ample free parking and of course the same great team of blood center team members.

The new center features additional donor beds and brings the availability of platelet donations to the Northland for the first time. Learn more about platelet donation.

To best serve Duluth’s loyal blood donor community the new donor center hours are:

Mon & Tue:        12:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Wed & Thu:        9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Fri:                        7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Sat & Sun:           Closed

The new Duluth donor center space is larger and conveniently located close to stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. It features state-of-the-art equipment, a comfortable lounge area, and free on-site parking. Plus, the new Duluth donor center has space for more donation beds — so you can bring a friend or family member to donate with you!

MBC maintains 10 donor centers across Minnesota and western Wisconsin, each donor center operates as efficiently as possible to minimize overhead and maximize the impact each blood donation can have. With this in mind, we have chosen to close our existing Duluth location in order to reallocate staff, and equipment to better serve our blood donors and maximize our collections in Duluth.

Yes! Staff from the current Duluth donor center will move to the new location.

Hours at the new Duluth donor center are:

Memorial Blood Centers’ call representatives are contacting donors with appointments scheduled at the Duluth donor center past the closure date to reschedule at our new location.
