A Message from our Medical Directors
On behalf of Memorial Blood Centers, we wish to sincerely thank all of our donors who have taken time from their busy schedules to donate blood, platelets, or plasma in an effort to help others. No words can adequately capture the deep appreciation of patients in our communities for your life-saving donations.
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact healthcare in many ways and contributes to chronic blood shortages across the country. Our hospitals depend on healthy people to donate blood components to keep up with patient needs. As people begin to return to pre-pandemic activities, we respectfully ask that you continue to donate blood and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
We need more blood donors, as well as more phlebotomists and drivers to effectively support the health of the community.
Please visit mbc.org to schedule an appointment online at one of our centers or mobile drives, or call 1.888.GIVE.BLD (888.448.3253).
Thank you again for your willingness to help others through your life saving gift of blood donation.
