SickleSMART virtual education

#SickleSmart Summer is a virtual education series for patients, providers, and caregivers, designed by the Sickle Cell Foundation of Minnesota to provide information on treating the whole person with sickle cell disease.

Memorial Blood Centers' Medical Director Dr. Jed Gorlin will be one of the featured speakers during the June 27 virtual session, speaking about the importance of precisely matched transfusions and a diverse donor base for sickle cell patient care.

Other SickleSMARTSummer sessions take place July 25 and August 22, and previously recorded sessions are available from Sickle Cell Foundation of Minnesota.
